In the very heart of Lecce, between Piazza Sant’Oronzo and the Carlo V Castle, Palazzo XXV Luglio is reborn through a masterful restoration and enhancement project. The building, an example of early 20th-century monumental architecture, is reinterpreted with a sense of discretion and elegance: original materials such as carparo stone and marble are brought back to life in dialogue with contemporary lines, natural light, and spaces designed for everyday wellbeing. A project that returns to the city a fragment of its history.
History
Architecture of Lecce
Built in the 1930s, the palace represents one of the finest examples of Lecce’s rationalist architecture. Its marble and carparo façades tell the solemn story of the era, while the building’s curved layout reflects the modern and reflects the dynamic spirit of the modern city. Today, through a respectful yet innovative restoration, this heritage comes back to life, merging historical memory with the needs of contemporary living.
